How to prepare Bird's Nest soup

Majority of the people's impression of preparing bird's nest soup is - Troublesome and difficult! They are also afraid of ruining an expensive ingredient for cooking an cuisine. 

We are here to show you that it is not the case! Preparing Bird's Nest soup is simple! It is not as complicated as you think. 

  1. Soak the dried Bird's Nest in Water (2 hours for thicker texture, 8-10 hours for smoother texture)

  2. After soaking, use tweezers  to remove any feathers/debris if there is any

  3. Place the soaked Bird's Nest in a bowl and close it with a lid. Boil it with water inside a bigger pot (water level not exceeding the bowl)  for 45 minutes

  4. Add in rock sugar/honey rock sugar  (one small cube if you like it less sweet) and some of your preferred ingredients. Boil for another 15 minutes

  5. And... You are done! Served it at room temperature or chilled!
